Cin Cin
The story
Cin Cin began in print design, and it shows: bold, maximalist troppo-graphic motifs in vivid color. The debut collection was picked up by Moda Operandi in January 2019, and the brand has since appeared in Vogue US, Vogue Australia, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, InStyle, and WWD.
Founder & origin
Founded in 2019 by Australian duo Louise Lazarus and Geo Moriarty, named after the Italian toast “cin cin” after a summer spent abroad together.
Craft & materials
Cin Cin Studios opened in Bali in 2021, where 96% of the collection is made. The founders live in Bali full-time and work alongside a team of around twenty. Their printing house is the first small/medium textile digital printer to hold both OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and OEKO-TEX STEP certification, with fully chemical-free treated wastewater.
Conscious notes
Total transparency is a stated value — the founders publish exactly where and how each piece is made, and nearly all production happens in one studio they personally oversee.
