The story
Indah has been making swimwear and bohemian-luxe ready-to-wear from Bali for two decades, drawing each season from an international community of artists, travelers, and the island itself. Daring silhouettes, vibrant hand-painted prints.
Founder & origin
Founded and designed by Libby De Santis. Indah means “beautiful” in Indonesian — she knew that would be the name if she ever started a brand.
Craft & materials
Production is 100% in-house at their own facility in Bali. Crochet is hand-crafted, many prints are hand-painted, and dyeing runs on a closed-loop water system. Fabrics are woven from FSC-certified, biodegradable yarns.
Conscious notes
One of the few green batik factories on the island — wastewater is filtered and returned to the ecosystem at a safe pH. Packaging uses POLLASTIC, recycled ocean-bound plastic collected from Bali's beaches. Fair-trade certified: fair wages, health insurance, maternity leave, safe conditions for every craftsperson in the factory.
